I needed a local HVAC company to service and maintain my 2-year-old Goodman unit. I contacted Five Star and they came to perform free inspection on unit. Their Field Technician, Dean, was concerned that new unit concrete pad was cracked due to installing over top of smaller old pad...as well as several other issues regarding original installation. He came and put in shims to bring unit to level and it is now working better than ever!! Quieter running (purrs like a kitten) and stronger airflow!! I arranged for a complimentary tune-up with a very polite woman who cold-called my number. Mike and Clay arrived when they said they would, and explained everything they did and saw. They made recommendations and offered a service plan but with no high pressure tactics. All in all, a very professional experience.

The tech, Dean arrived on time as expected. He explained the reason why he was here and what he was going to do. Then he showed me everything and pointed out each item and the function. He cleaned up the weeds and washed the unit. He cleaned the coils and checked the electric. He told me about my unit that I didn't know. Everything checked out okay. He did his job well. I will ask for Dean again.
